Nanok^® is a highly effective fungicide against diseases belongning to the Ascomycetes (e.g. powdery mildew, mycosphaerealla), Basidiomycetes (e.g rust, rhizoctonia), Deuteromycetes (e.g. alternaria, septoria) and has some activity against Oomycetes (e.g. downy mildew, phytophthora) on crops like banana, cereals, coffee, corn, grapevine, rice, soybean, sunflower and tomato.

Nanok containing a unique combination of Azoxystrobin and Flutriafol, optimises two different modes of action giving a very broad disease and crop spectrum.  This mixture is also an important tool in management of disease resistance. There is no known cross-resistance between these two fungicides.

Azoxystrobin, sold alone by Cheminova as Azaka is one of the most broad spectrum fungicides used globally on around forty crops against various diseases. It is a fungicide from the strobilurin group; a quinone outside inhibitor. Azoxystrobin inhibits fungal respiration and inhibits spore germination and mycelial growth and also shows antisporulant activity. Azoxystrobin shows good crop safety*, disease control and maintenance of green leaf area which results in significant yield benefits.

Flutriafol, sold alone by Cheminova as Impact, is a broad spectrum fungicide effective against most pathogens belonging to the Asco- and Basidiomycetes. Flutriafol has the lowest log K_ow value compared to other triazoles, resulting in rapid penetration through the cuticle layer of the leaf, and extremely high systemic movement within the plant.
